A Maggio 2022 torna la Festa dei Ceri a Gubbio
Previste comunque una serie di accortezze e attenzioni delle quali si è discusso in un incontro che ha coinvolto il sindaco Filippo Stirati, i rappresentanti di diocesi, Università dei muratori, Associazione Maggio Eugubino, i presidenti delle tre famiglie ceraiole, i capitani e i capodieci.
Stirati – spiega il Comune in una nota – ha riferito dell’incontro avuto con il Commissario straordinario per l’emergenza in Umbria Massimo D’Angelo, il quale, nel fare un quadro dell’andamento epidemiologico nella regione, si è a più riprese soffermato sulla necessità di evitare, nelle settimane che precederanno il 15 maggio, il formarsi di cluster che potrebbero poi compromettere lo svolgimento della Festa. Per questo ha fortemente consigliato di evitare momenti conviviali al chiuso e di indossare la mascherina quale ulteriore forma di attenzione e prevenzione. “Si tratta di accorgimenti – ha spiegato Stirati – che ci vengono suggeriti dalle autorità sanitarie per tutelare lo svolgimento della Festa il 15 maggio, ma anche per salvaguardare le date dei Ceri mezzani e dei Ceri piccoli, riducendo il più possibile i rischi potenziali costituiti da assembramenti, specie nei luoghi chiusi dove, in caso di momenti conviviali, si starebbe tra l’altro anche senza mascherina. Ritengo essenziale, anche in relazione al numero dei contagi ancora alto in città, il rispetto di quelli che ci vengono indicati come comportamenti utili a tutelare la festa”.
Tutte le componenti dell’incontro – prosegue la nota – si sono dette concordi nel mantenere la prima domenica di maggio per riportare, a spalla, i Ceri in città, ma utilizzando una serie di accorgimenti. Anzitutto verrà emanata una ordinanza sindacale per l’obbligatorietà dell’utilizzo della mascherina anche all’aperto. Ogni momento conviviale al chiuso sarà inoltre sospeso, proprio per salvaguardare quanto più possibile lo svolgimento successivo della Festa il 15.
